A little about me:

I’m absolutely, positively on fire for Christ. His love and never-ending grace has rooted us in Him.

Christ = Rooted.

I am a proud American and I deeply value my freedom. Without it, I’d be like a bird caged against its will.

Freedom = Wings.

My husband, William, is my best friend and partner in this crazy ride we call life. My son, Gabriel is my entire universe and without him, my life would have little meaning. I love my two dogs, Blue and Hazel almost as much as my human child. My mother is my hero.

I enjoy coffee, good wine, and literally anything made with sugar. Decorating our home is something that comes naturally to me. I am a gardener, but I’m actually not very good at it. I find Autumn to be a magical time of the year and Halloween is my favorite holiday. I’m part of a very small group of people who prefers Winter over Summer. I’m a Gilmore Girls junkie and I’m a sucker for a good romantic comedy. On the contrary, I love a good thriller. I’m pretty sure I have ADHD, my anxiety cripples me at times, and I have horrible insomnia.

I wear a lot of hats: I’m a lavender farmer, candle maker, natural soap and apothecary bath item crafter, small business owner, teacher, home maker, singer, artist, and a writer. I’m a friend, daughter, cousin, and sister, a thyroidectomy, lumpectomy, and car accident survivor, an extrovert, who values her alone time, and I plan to blog about all of the above-mentioned things and more!
