Learn to make cold process/natural soap. You will be able to create your own soap (3 bars) choosing colors and creating swirls etc. kristyn will do the “scary” part of mixing the lye with the oils while explaining the process along the way. Wine and appetizers will be served.

About the event
Cold process soap making is a complex and somewhat complicated process. That being said, once you get the hang of it, it's super fun! I'll walk you through the entire process handling all the dangerous steps (mixing the lye, etc). You have total creative freedom with your personal mold; choose your colors, top style, and botanicals. We'll use a universal fragrance of lavender essential oil as this is the easiest to work with. Wine and appetizers will be served and weather permitting, our patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy refreshments. In the spring, summer, and fall, our lavender field is an extraordinary place to sip wine. You're welcome to pick an herb bouquet, too. Finally, we have a beautiful shop with hand crafted candles, soap, lotions, body butters, bath bombs as well as Umgee clothing and high quality swag.
